This exciting evening of 'Legends of Romance’ concert features Rimsky-Korsakov's inspired orchestral fantasy ‘Scheherazade' which describes the adventures of Sinbad the Sailor in glittering  musical colours.  
Tchaikovsky's dramatic tone poem Francesca da Rimini starts the concert, which will also feature 22 year old award-winning trumpet player Matilda Lloyd (BBC Young Brass Player of the Year 2014) who will perform the brilliant Arutunian Trumpet Concerto.

The Harlem Meer Cats

Terra/Earth

Mishmak Youth Theatre is an innovative and inclusive company based in Sutton, Surrey. This is our 4th consecutive year participating in National Theatre Connections.

Our cast are a talented ensemble of nine young female performers all aged 12 - 17 years old. Terra/earth is the first show of it's kind for Connections, a physical and dynamic piece of visual storytelling using the language of the body as well as the tongue.

Following tasks and set exercises provided we have produced and invented our own choreography to tell the story of an outsider who disrupts the status quo.
