Epsom Symphony Orchestra: Autumn Classics

The Epsom Symphony Orchestra present Autumn Classics, under the baton of our musical director, Darrell Davison. The concert opens with the joyful overture to Smetana’s comic opera, The Bartered Bride. We are also joined by local soloist, Dan Brandon, to give us that jewel of Romantic music, the Dvorak Cello Concerto. Dan was awarded principal cellist at the NYO & now studies at the prestigious Hannover Hochschule in Germany. This classical feast concludes with Brahms 4th Symphony, a monumental work of profound depth and power.
