The Epsom Symphony Orchestra present Romance and Revolution, an evening of classical delights. We begin with Tchaikovsky’s iconic Romeo and Juliet Overture, in which you’ll be sure to recognise the famous love theme. The first half then concludes with Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, a work for piano & orchestra, resembling a concerto in one movement. Finally, we finish with Shostakovich's 5th Symphony, a work of profound emotional depth and musical ingenuity, guaranteed to deliver an unforgettable experience.
